So here it is, my first blog post. I am not even sure if I am doing this right. Making and posting blogs are definitely not my cup of tea so this going to be a struggle.

I originally chose the South American route, but that door was closed and the route was canceled. Whenever I first received news about the South America route closing I was bummed, I was super excited for the route and the journey ahead of me. After thinking for a while during the process of finding a new route I started seeing that it was God closing one door and opening another. I say this because now I am able to go spend some time in Southern Africa doing missions. This will be with some missionaries that are family friends and will take place after my trip through Adventure in Missions.

I believe a lot of the time we see a door being closed as a bad thing and we get downed or disappointed in what happened. But most of the time the Lord will open another door that will be better suited for us and help us grow more in the walk with him.
